Synopsis for northern california waters..A strong thermal trough will continue to produce gale force winds and very steep, hazardous seas through tomorrow morning across much of the coastal waters. Northerly winds slightly diminish into mid week as the surface pressure gradient gradually relaxes. However, gale force conditions are expected to persist across the southern outer waters through tomorrow evening. Conditions slowly improve mid to late week, but will remain hazardous for small craft.
